(A/N: once again... a coffee shop au... Featuring Meulin and Jake!)
It was fair to say that you enjoyed your job as a barista. The pay was good, your coworkers cheerful and you were always surrounded by the smells of coffee, hot chocolate and pastries. Also the cafe itself was a very cozy place filled with plants of all sorts that you and your coworkers, Meulin and Jake, constantly had to change every day.
You worked the afternoon shift, because you had worked the morning shift once and went home crying, so you just always told the manager that you were available in the afternoons, so there you were, at the least busy part of the day. And y
Thirty minutes just thirty minutes until the big event and you'll be in the year of 2017. And who better to spend the last few moments of the 2016 year with your closest friends your friends from Sburb. Hard to believe it's been a whole year since you completed that game with your life intact. However these sods are your best friends and by god you're going to enjoy some good time with them.
You felt an arm wrap around your neck as Roxy rests her head on your shoulder.
"Hey (name) just thity more sekonds until the big moment." Roxy says drunkenly

"Yeah that's right Roxy let's just w

In front of you is standing the one and only...
Roxy Lalonde. Surprisingly enough, with bright pink flowers instead of alcohol in her hand. Despite that little shocker, you still can’t get over the fact that she’s actually standing in front of you. She’s your favorite female character from Homestuck because, let’s face it; she’s absolutely fabulous. You shake your head slightly in disbelief, eyes still wide, and she smiles at you, winking.
“Betcha weren’t expecting ta see me here today, were ya?” She asks. You shake your head and she laughs
Sleeping in class is one of the few pleasures you can get out of life, you spent the majority of the night reading Terra Formars. It's alright however one: being that the Sufferer is really cool when it comes to sleeping in class. Two: it was the last five minutes of school so that meant it was cool.
"(mr/ms) (last name)" The sufferer says
"Yes?" you ask a little bit sleepy headed
"Class has been over for about 45 minutes, I think it's time for you to go home." the sufferer says
"Why'd you let me sleep for so long?" you ask
"I tried to wake you up several times." the sufferer replies
(What he did)

The silver key to your new dorm room trembled in your hand as you slowly slid it into the door. Emotions swirled within your gut as questions filled your head. Right before you could turn the key to unlock the d

A tall blonde woman opened the door and gave you a small smile.
"Ah (f/n), please come in."
You walk into the house and see a small girl standing in front of you.
"Hello," she greets formally,"my name is Rose."
You smile,"hi Rose, I'm (f/n)."
Her mother smiles lightly,"well, I'll be back in a few hours. Ill pay you then."
She kisses her daughters forehead and walks out.
"So what do you like to do Rose?" You ask.
"Oh I like stories. Do you think you could read to me?"
"Of course!"
You walk into the living room with her and she hands you a book, harry potter.
"The page is bookmarked," she tells you.
You flip the boo

"She *hic* letf, let, left me for someon, someone, else."
The girl looked at you.
"What's wit, with, that face?"
You didn't even realize your chin was resting on your hand.
"Oh, I'm just wondering if you're hiccuping from tears or alcohol."
The girl gave you a look.
"Well, sorry?"
'But you kinda left me too....'
"Weren't you two just going to another part of the school? Why didn't you just go there yourself?"
"Becuz... Well, now I'm gunna, gonna, drown my sorrows in this..."
She pointed to a bag you just noticed her carrying.
"Alcohol."
She sent you another look.

You’re no good for me
Baby you’re no good for me
You have been staring at her for the past 30 minutes or so, but you couldn’t help it. The way her soft blonde hair barely touched her shoulders, the way her candy pink eyes shined in happiness and how her nose would wrinkle when she smiled. All these little things about her made your heart melt.
You watched her and her friends from across the coffee shop you were in. The way she smiled and laughed made your heart ache, because it wasn’t you who made her smile and laugh. Your eyes kept scanning their tables, a small ti
